Spa Policies

The following information is intended to make your visit as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

By booking an appointment with Complexions by Misty, you agree to the following spa policies.

Contraindications 

For everyone's safety, please do not come to your appointment if you are sick, have been sick or exposed to someone who has been sick! Please understand, I do not get paid time off or sick leave.

 

If you have any food, scent, or metal allergies, please let me know. If you have any of the following contagious illnesses, please cancel your services: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chicken Pox, Shingles, Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Conjunctivitis, Cold Sores, Staph infection, Rubella, Head Lice, Impetigo, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease, Polio, Ringworm, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Scabies, Sore Throat, Thrush, Whooping Cough, Cold, Flu, or COVID.

I do not treat clients on Accutane, discontinue use 6 months before making an appointment. Discontinue use of Retin-A and other medications/products that exfoliate or thin the skin 2 weeks prior to your facial appointment.

Cancellations & No-Shows

I strive to provide a personalized experience to all clients. When you book an appointment, the time is reserved exclusively for you. Please be courteous and contact promptly, if you are unable to attend an appointment. As a courtesy, appointment reminders are provided to clients by e-mail and/or text message. 

 

Due to the timing, cost of preparations, and to hold the room in anticipation of your visit, I kindly require a credit card to guarantee all reservation. You will not be billed unless there is a late cancellation or no-show.

 

If you fail to give a 24-Hour Notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment, Complexions by Misty reserves the right to charge a cancellation/no show fee amounting to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. When you schedule an appointment, you are agreeing to these policies.

Arrival

Appointments are time-based, one late client affects other client’s scheduled appointments. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to check-in, sign waivers (if needed), and update any new information. Please attempt to contact me as soon as possible if you are running late. I will do my best to accommodate your appointment. Late arrival might result in shorter treatment time, which I cannot adjust the pricing for. After 10 minutes you may be asked to reschedule and charged a fee of 50% of the cost of the scheduled service.

Pricing & Services

Prices and services are subject to change without notice, however, I will do my best to notify and update clients on any changes. If you are ever unsure about a price, feel free to contact me with your inquiry. Treatment times can vary.

Payment Methods & Gift Certificates

I accept cash, credit cards, apple pay, zelle, venmo, and afterpay. Gift Certificates are a wonderful way to give the gift of healthy skin. Gift Certificates can be purchased online or at checkout. Gift Certificates are treated as cash and are not replaceable. In the event of a no-show or cancellation without a 24-hour notice, gift certificates will become invalid and be used to cover the cost of the missed appointment. 

Exchanges & Returns

Treatments are non-refundable but if you are unsatisfied with the treatment you received, please contact me right away to discuss any concerns that you have. All retail items are sold brand new, unused and are non-refundable.
