In the events  of COVID-19, my business has to adhere to pages upon pages of new guidelines required by the state.

By booking an appointment with Complexions by Misty, you agree to the following COVID-19 Safety Plan.




To keep everyone healthy, please do not come to your appointment if you are sick, have been sick or exposed to someone who has been sick or has had any flu-like symptoms within 14 days of your appointment. Stay home if you have these symptoms: cough, fever, chills, difficulty breathing, muscle pain, sore throat and loss of taste and/or smell. 

  • GUEST ARRIVAL: Please wait in the car and text "HERE" to 661-747-9040 or come in and have a seat.

  • NO EXTRA GUESTS: Please do not bring extra guests to your appointment. If you cannot find a sitter for your appointment, please feel free to bring your well behaved child with you!

  • A MASK IS REQUIRED: Even though guests are "allowed" to take the mask off during their facial or face waxing services, which makes this state mandated guideline absolutely ridiculous.

Complexions by Misty is committed to providing a clean, healthy environment for its guests. I have been trained on sanitation protocols and have a full supply of PPE ready to use at all times. I have implemented proactive approaches to adhere to all local, state and federal guidelines:

  • SPACED BOOKINGS: Appointments will be spaced out in order to have time for proper cleaning and disinfecting between every guest.

  • APPOINTMENTS: No walk-in appointments. Bookings must be done online or by text message 661-747-9040.

  • REQUIRED PPE: I will be wearing a mask and full face shield when servicing guests.

  • WASH/SANITIZE HANDS: I will wash my hands or use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of your service. I will wear new, disposable nitrile gloves during your entire service. 

  • SANITATION PROTOCOLS: All implements will be sanitized after every guest. All disposables will be decarded after each use. The entire treatment room will be cleaned and sanitized after every guest. High touch areas in the spa will be sanitized throughout the day. All sheets, blankets and towels are removed after every guest.

  • AIR PURIFIER: The treatment room is equipped with a Dyson Pure Cool™ to remove 99.97% of pollutants and allergens as small as 0.3 microns.
